founded in 1719, is a small, rural secondary school of 634 (2008/9) students between 11 and 16 years old. We seek to be an inclusive community school, constantly ensuring that our students can be the best that they can be. We aim to provide a caring but well-disciplined environment, where the curriculum is broad, balanced and challenging, intended to broaden personal horizons.

In September 2006 we were designated as specialist Technology College.
